On the surface, tiny metallic paillettes sparkle and shine. Reflecting off one another, directing your attention here or there.
We construct our own beautiful distractions. Genuine concern goes unnoticed behind austerity while insecurities are deflected by drawing attention from here to there. Shyness conceals beautiful people while generosity lies in the shadows of anonymity. And just as the paillettes hang delicately, so easy to reconfigure, we, too, have the possibility of transformation.
